Serious question. Kristi Noem was pictured with a Rolex in El Salvador, and got 3k in cash stolen.
She has been on a govt salary for years.
Something aint right

This is kind of a self-own. If you believe that strongly about it, quit using them altogether. Otherwise, acknowledge that you’re willing to completely sell out your principles because you’re addicted to using a social media app. Or just admit that you’re not all that pissed off in the first place.

An expression of corporate ideology is how they keep remaking the literally perfect Chuck Jones version of THE GRINCH THAT STOLE CHRISTMAS to "update" and "modernize" it instead of trying to make any new children's entertainment in the same style as the extremely successful original.

NEW: Porsha Ngumezi is the fifth case we've reported on in which a woman died after not receiving a D&C or its second-trimester equivalent in time, or at all.
Her case raises questions about how abortion bans are pressuring doctors to avoid standard care even in straightforward miscarriages.

Makes me sad re-reading this amazing letter from ex-Watergate Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox sent to high school seniors in 1994 after they asked him “What should Americans learn from Watergate?” 20 years later in ‘94.
His answer is remarkable—unfortunately things didn’t work out so well in 2024.

Hey, remember the Elian Gonzalez saga?
Remember how much righteous anger there was in Republican circles over this image of one (1) armed federal agent taking custody of (1) undocumented minor in order to reunite him with his father?
These are the images Republicans will soon be celebrating.

A level of pettiness to which we can all aspire. Resident of Seaside, California was ordered to build a fence to hide from view the boat he parks next to his house. He complied.

It’s been a very long time since I watched an event in television and thought I really missed out by not being there. Tonight’s Billy Joel concert at MSG left me truly envious of everyone that was fortunate enough to be there.
