Since the government repeatedly signposts trans people to helplines I searched for evidence for their effectiveness in reducing distress in people with gender dysphoria, who cannot access medical care. There isn’t any.

I thought this government and health secretary was all about evidence.

Why is this pathetic Government even bothering to run consultations on at all?

People spend a lot of time and effort submitting responses, only to have them fed into what's effectively an environment-killing, eye-wateringly expensive Magic 8 Ball.

They disregard results they don't like anyhow. 😟
I know the EHRC is stonewalling (sic) on releasing any information about their use of AI to analyse "consultation" results.

But it caught my eye that the government is using the same approach elsewhere, here with 50,000 responses being analysed with an AI approach in less than 2 hours.

were all MADE UP TO TAKE OUR RIGHTS AWAY

The 400 richest Americans are now worth a record $6.6 trillion.

The entire bottom 50% of America is worth just $4.2 trillion.

Read that back.

When 400 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.

This is important.

The Government is introducing a new "Section 28 2.0" for trans kids and is listening to anti-trans groups, including representative of a group whose members actively support and encourage torturing children (through conversion therapy) to try and make them cis.

As a frequent user of the ponds, it disgusts me that terfs are taking a beautiful place and pouring their hate into it. Please fill in this survey if you want to protect this space for all women and make trans women feel. PS the ducks think terfs suck. And the friendly fox. And the crows.
The Gender Critical have already inundated this survey with their disgusting views on banning trans people from using the ponds.

Would be a shame if we inundated with trans positive views on not banning trans people.

Labour's conference is going to be an endless repetition of "it's us or Reform". All the while Reform is setting the agenda and Labour are pushing policies to meet it.
For many migrants, trans/non-binary, disabled, marginalised, individuals the difference between the two is paper thin in practice
Dehumanisation as policy.
It ignores people's actual lives and experiences in favour of some sick idea that migrants are just resources to be used and discarded at will.
It is incredible how Labour has become, in practice, the most anti-immigration government in decades.

Keir Starmer comments about Reform are no more sincere than Wes Streeting saying trans people should be treated with 'respect and dignity'.

They are words meant for Labour supporters who don't really care about either 'issue' but want some nice things to point to.

Their actions tell you everything
