Never forget that the only country in NATO history which triggered NATO article 5 is USA after a bunch of Arab terrorists took down some buildings in New York.

Now when Europe is in existential threat by former Soviets, the USA is throwing us bones and expecting gratitude.

EU need to step up.

I agree that the BBC should apologise to Trump for being misleading.

Right after Trump apologises for the 30,573 false or misleading claims he made during his first presidency, or for each of his current daily average of 21 new lies per.

Almost there, not quite.
The deal was damaging, but the main damage was Brexit itself. It was a huge mistake driven by lies. If Labour are building up to saying this, I wish they would get a move on. As it stands, they’re just holding the door open for Farage.

Just listened to Chris Mason on Radio 4 defending BBC's excessive coverage of Farage & Reform. I was outraged by his response to legitimate criticism. I no longer trust the BBC's political coverage (actually I haven't for some time, but the BBC's behaviour has grown even worse of late).

Putin’s back to playing his favourite fiddle again. He’s obviously terrified of Ukraine getting hold of weapons that could actually do damage to Russia and turn the tide in their favour. TACO will crumble yet again.

UAE has no democratically elected institutions, no free speech and an appalling human rights record.

Its economy functions on completely different metrics to the ours & ranks well below us for GDP

No serious person would ever think that we should emulate it.

But here's Tice calling us decadent

The edict should go out from Starmer to every Labour MP to always refer to the small boats carrying asylum seekers as "Farage Boats" and, if challenged, explain that we're only seeing so many now because of Brexit.

He made that point in one GB News interview, but it needs to be made infinite times.
