Carlson’s line that Russia won’t invade Europe because it’s “dying economically” reflects a bizarre MAGA idea of Europe. Though Europe’s economy is 12 times bigger than Russia’s, much of MAGA imagines Europe as an apocalyptic wasteland with no industry and inhabited mostly by migrant criminals.
Really instructive how Witkoff is 100% certain that Putin is not interested in the rest of Ukraine, let alone Europe, which is obviously not what Putin himself is saying.
