Hello infinite void that is social media. I'm Ponyus, I'm a game dev, primarily a game/level designer, and I'm here because I want to be more social. I will primarily post silly jokes and memes, my thoughts on games, and maybe do a bit of self promotion.

I've seen animations get choppy (every other frame or lower) for far-away elements, but do any engines use LOD tech for bones? Like, at long distance
* Detail elements get no bones, or
* A tail with 10 bones in it only has 3, or
* A secret third thing

Spotify is crashing HARD because of the boycott. Their stock dropped 11% in value over the last month. Let’s keep this going!
Tell everyone you know to boycott Spotify. There are plenty of alternatives that don’t run ICE advertisements and screw over artists.

This made me think that something that really grinds my gears is when non digital goods are buggy/have a bad user experience. You can't give feedback easily and in the appropriate direction! While "quite buggy" is bad feedback, at least its in the right place for devs to see...
At the self checkout it says "Would you like a receipt?" and if you press NO it says "Please take your receipt and bags" and it feels like that's the sort of thing that will get an indie game called "quite buggy" in Steam reviews.
