This is true and I was the only one on set excited about it (and playing the song on my phone to blank stares)
Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.

Early in our marriage my wife had an idea for a cozy murder mystery: a medieval monk who solves crimes with his knowledge of plants

My response: “you mean Cadfael?”

We are now, finally, watching episode 1.

This is me but with a specific lotion for my seb derm.
Me: No! My couch chapstick is missing!

Wife: Just use the one on your desk.

Me: You want me to move my desk chapstick to the couch? Then what? Nightstand chapstick to my desk, bathroom chapstick to my nightstand, coat pocket chapstick to the bathroom? Then I'm stranded outside with NO CHAPSTICK?

Gave in and ordered some plain t-shirts on Boxing Say sale. Realizing that the worn out ones (with multiple holes) *might* need to culled from my wardrobe. Last time I went to physio all I could find clean were hole-y t-shirts.

ICE detain father shopping on Christmas Eve—then steal his family's groceries.

Then 3 agents divvy up his paid for food—taking what they want for themselves.

"Can I just get the wife's number to call and let her know?" woman asks.

"No, guess he should've complied," agent says.

A while back a dear friend wanted some cloth gift bags. These would replace wrapping paper for several gifts. I made her some and since doing so kept an eye out for sale Xmas fabric to make some for our household. They are brilliant. They look lovely and “wrapping” takes no time. Highly recommend!

A story on Christmas: my wife once told me that Mary Berry’s first three husbands died in mysterious circumstances, possibly poisoning. I believed her.

We’ve been home all day. Which is a good thing because my pants have been on inside out ALL DAY. TBF they are very nice made leggings and with the stitching you can’t tell. (My wife eventually informed me because the label is printed in the middle of the back waistband.)

We are rewatching Father Brown from the beginning, and the first episode is just as unhinged as one would hope for.

Missed this when it came out. What the article doesn’t mention is how the designer doxxed the woman who started the Facebook group and, as I understood her posts on Insta to suggest, encouraged folks to complain to the school where the woman as teaches. www.bbc.com/news/article...
Nerida Hansen: Shoppers loved Australia's 'fabric queen'. Then, order by order, her story fell apart

My wife is one of those people who says she is going to go to sleep and within ten seconds of hitting the pillow, she’s out like a light. She said she needed a nap. She got into bed and is immediately very very very gently snoring.

Well, I’ve managed to start off the holiday vacation period with one of the worst migraines I’ve had in ages. Luckily, my new GP armed me with an antiemetic (along with my my other meds). Today has been fucking awful.

After a gruelling physio appt I popped into the Shoppers and got two toothbrushes. When I got home my wife took them and put them in our stockings for Christmas because she knew that was the plan for them. And she gave herself the red toothbrush. Thank goodness because I do not do red toothbrushes.

Ah December. Heat’s off and balcony door is cracked open a bit. I think everyone else in the building must have their own heat on because it’s 23C in our living room right now.
