I'm on the lookout for a new role!

I've been an epi modeller and RSE these past few years, and I am looking to continue in similar quantitative roles, based in London.

My skillset is fairly broad and covers research, analysis, and programming. Any leads on opportunities are most welcome.

I'm sure this is well intentioned (/s), but it's basically a summary of 'how establishment are you'. Obvious metric creation and gaming opportunities to follow, with further disadvantages to folks whose orgs aren't trusted or whatever.

Extraordinarily worrying although it will be defended as just good business.
Signs here that UK elites are moving towards an accommodation with the new politics. I call this the 'shadow election', in which power centres move towards likely winners and cue the electorate about what's acceptable. Saw it when Labour were the coming force too.

Nice, but slightly unexpected, to see serious folks I follow also play WoW. Back when I started, a lot of players online at the same time seemed to be coalition troops in Afghanistan.
The only person in my World of Warcraft guild who actually knows what he's doing is a Ukrainian dude whom Russian attacks have limited to a few hours of power a day, and who frequently has to leave abruptly due to air alerts.
