The end goal of Grok sexual harassment is to make women afraid to be visible. It’s a punishment for daring to exist in a way the perpetrators can’t control. There’s no one solution to this, because the problem isn’t just technological. It’s cultural. It’s misogyny. This is just one expression of it.

One thing people forget is that the US supports plenty of dictators right now, it has supported dictators in the past, and it has installed its own dictators in other countries through regime change operations.

So many people over decades have been called conspiracy theorists for suggesting that U.S. intervention is driven by capitalist interests, and the interests of the oil industry in particular. Now the president just says it outright in press conferences and interviews.

I'm still adjusting to that, it's been equal parts revitalizing and stressful. I tried to gather some of my favorite personal work that wasn't Joan? related, and it was honestly kind of hard, bc a lot of the work I was proud of on a technical level were commissions this year haha. But here's a few!
