i love horror bc being scared is very very fun but it kinda made my phobias go away! time was i could look at pictures of undersea caves or sinkholes for cheap thrills but diving irl and playing so much subnautica kind of killed that

Serial Experiments Lain is incredible man. whenever i reflect on all the ways the internet has driven us insane, i think about how this series released in 1998 somehow perfectly depicted the alienation and psychosis that mass-communication would enable.
