This is a pretty severe escalation from CBS, just straight up lying like this.
BREAKING: The ICE agent who fatally shot Renee Good last week in Minneapolis, Jonathan Ross, suffered internal bleeding to the torso following the incident, according to two U.S. officials briefed on his medical condition.

It’s a lawless totalitarian occupation of an American city.
I know people on Bsky know this but I hope it filters out: The feds are OCCUPYING the Twin Cities. This is a blockade, a siege. They are shutting down economic and civic activity. They are conducting "papers please" stops. They are criminalizing being a bystander/witness.

You could be next.

We are so far beyond "show us your papers." They don't want to see the papers. We are now into the "give us the names" stage of the occupation.

Having seen several abductions up close, it is really hard to convey how much the thing they’re doing is roaming in military convoys until they see someone who is alone and isn’t white, and then jumping out in large numbers, pulling them into a van, and screeching off, all in 90 seconds or so.
"“They specifically asked me if I knew where the Hmong families lived on my street & in the neighborhood.” Lugert-Thom responded, “I don’t know anything about that” & she said they then asked, “Well, what about the Asian families?”"

"“I was a bit shaken & a bit shocked of what I was asked to do.”"
A St. Paul resident says federal officers knocked on her door and asked her to identify Hmong and Asian households in her North End neighborhood last week.

and again--despite all the rhetoric about the us having an unstoppable military force relative to denmark, what this does is make the decision stark for the u.s.: if you do this, you have to commit to killing the troops of an ally
They'll stick to an official line of not explicitly saying it, keep all the face-saving off ramps open, it can be spun as doing what he asked for. But this is an actual for-real military deployment in response to a fear of an American invasion. Soldiers to defend themselves from us, the rogue state.
Denmark is underway to move more troops to Greenland in cooperation with undisclosed allies.

Preparatory staff are in place to solve logistics for potential larger Danish forces.

Details are sparse but dr.dk reports that first plane landed 2 days ago.

they want everyone desperate, starving, suffering. they have found that the more desperate we are, the easier it has been for them to pit us against one another. they know that the more desperate a society behaves, the easier it is for them to issue orders for more and more murders

They've been yearning to see people shot in the street their whole lives. If you'd ask them directly they'd have told you. They told each other. They talked about it and agreed about it together.
It would be a mistake to see Trumpism as authoritarianism imposed on an unwilling nation, as opposed to authoritarianism implemented in a nation with a plurality that is already made up of authoritarian bootlickers who created the context for Trumpism to thrive.
