Our food imports must meet the same standards required of British farmers, we should never make concessions on animal welfare and food standards

Let the French manage their illegal migration problem themselves. What sort of scum submits their own kids to riot control..
Yes. We're spending £476m on the militarisation of Calais - where babies are being tear gassed.

The fact people are hearing this for the first time is exactly why I made it the subject of the Christmas Day message.

We could be spending that money instead on a fair and managed migration system.
The UK government is spending £476m tear-gassing babies?

Someone needs to get real if they're to be taken seriously.

FURY!! MY ARSE.
Fury as ban on hunting trophies absent from Labour’s animal-welfare shake-up
Whilst the animal welfare strategy has some great strenghts it is very disappointing that a ban on the
import of foie gras and hunting trophies is excluded

Naw. No voters give a toss about that. Just piss off and vote for Corbyn. Leave the grown ups to in Labour to re-establish law, order and empathy to our political world.
When we dissect the ousting of Starmer and the collapse of Labour at the next general election, naming Palestine Action a terrorist group, and the grim fallout of this act, will be seen as a big cause

Clueless Tory tossers
there is zero doubt this is the worst government of my lifetime
A friend of mine - a longstanding highly rated and senior servant to the Labour Party - wrote to me some weeks back saying 'This is the worst Government of my life time.' He hadn't forgotten Liz Truss but he credited her, inept though she was, with, unlike Labour, at least knowing what she wanted.

It’s all about ‘case law’ once someone has dodged a deportation bullet with some legal dexterity, every other illegal alien tries to use the same excuse to remain.
🚨 “Can I tell you how many times in the last 45 years the European Court of Human Rights has ruled against the UK when it comes to deporting people from this country - only 13 times - in 45 years”

Hugely important point made by @vicderbyshire.bsky.social 👏

The Welsh voted for it
Starmer seems too scared to tell the truth about Brexit 🤷🏻‍♀️

Wales has been hit harder by Brexit than anywhere else in the UK, with exports down 31%.

Plaid Cymru supports rejoining the single market and the customs union, because it’s the only way to stop damaging the Welsh economy.

After 26 years, the Welsh still haven’t worked out how to manage the NHS. I’d prefer for the railways to be operated nationally..
The UK Railways Bill going through the House of Commons today does nothing to address the decades of underfunding of Welsh railways.

Plaid Cymru is clear: Welsh rail should be in Welsh hands.

It’s time to end this injustice and devolve rail to Wales.

Bullshit. Starmer stated it was a priority once the economy could afford it.
Scrapping the two-child cap was the right thing to do, but Starmer spent 16 months in power defending it.

This strategy still isn’t enough.

Plaid Cymru is serious about giving every child a fair start - that’s what our Cynnal Child Payment would do.
Child poverty strategy unveiled - but not everyone's happy
Removing the two-child benefit cap is central to the government's new plan. But charities warn it has missed an opportunity to do more and the Conservatives argue work is a better way out.
