All my best friends were made in eras when I met tons of people regularly and was in repeat close contact with them regularly

a hot take that i genuinely hold is that relationships (romantic or otherwise) are to a large extent a numbers game and you do need to learn to accept that. you won't form a lasting bond with the vast majority of people you meet so to some extent you do kinda just have to keep rolling the dice.

I kinda love the idea of an action film where one of the main characters keeps dropping lines about phone lines and their work on the network.

Theres a little known refinement of Chekov's Gun known as Lineman's Gun where if a character is established at having telephone lineman experience it will prove to be crucial to resolving the plot. This basically only ever comes up in Three Days Of The Condor

Printing weird parts? Big parts? ABS? Parts where I'm afraid the supports are gonna be a pain?
No worries at all. It just spits out clean plastic every time. It's glorious.

Journalist challenge: Use “Machine Learning” when you mean machine learning and “LLM” when you mean LLM. Ditch “AI” as a catch-all term, it’s not useful for readers and it helps companies trying to confuse the public by obscuring the roles played by different technologies. 🧪
