I accidentally overheard my neighbor loudly arguing with Alexa about some kind of music selection. Part of me wished he just went "whatever" so I can continue enjoying the music through my window.

TIL - the "Alien Enemies Act" (*) only pertains to those enemies "being males of the age of fourteen years and upwards".
It's from 1798 when women were too genteel to be enemies. (sarcasm). I'm sure that limitation really burns S Miller.

If cats did not exist I feel certain we would have invented them like unicorns and dragons. There's just an insatiable cat-shaped hole in the human psyche and we would've filled it one way or the other.
