The arrests of Don Lemon, Georgia Fort, and Jamael Lundy are unacceptable and a clear violation of the Constitution.

This is a dangerous abuse of power that threatens the rights of every single American.

They must be released immediately.

I’m ok. I’m a survivor so this small agitator isn’t going to intimidate me from doing my work.

I don’t let bullies win.

Grateful to my incredible constituents who rallied behind me. Minnesota strong.

This is the position I ask my Senators, @whitehouse.senate.gov @reed.senate.gov , and Rep, @magaziner.house.gov to take as the funding deadline approaches. Voting No on the funding bill is the minimum. ICE must be abolished and as your constituent I demand you take that same position
Voting NO on the DHS funding bill is the bare minimum.

Backing Kristi Noem’s impeachment is the bare minimum.

Holding law-breaking ICE agents legally accountable is the bare minimum.

ICE is beyond reform. Abolish it.

No Senator, this doesn’t need work. As your constituent, I demand that you call for the abolition of ICE
Leader Thune must keep DHS $$ separate, like House did, so we can pass all other appropriations. Everyone sees DHS needs work.

BREAKING: ICE killed a Minnesota woman in broad daylight & there must be accountability.

But when I moved to subpoena all records & footage related to this murder, Republicans voted it down.

They've never cared about law & order or keeping our communities safe.

If the Dems blink after all of this, for a deal that all but ensures no ACA subsidies in 2026 anyway, then what was the purpose of letting the shutdown go for 40 days in the first place?

Senate Democrats need to hold the line. No healthcare, no deal.

Mainers want a Democratic Party that fights for them, not one that rolls over.

When we fight, we win.

This is why progressives don’t like the Democratic party. They always sell out. It’s no wonder they struggle to beat Republicans

I want to reiterate that countless conservative judges issued universal injunctions against the Biden administration, and the Supreme Court never halted the practice. Now, barely five months into Trump's second term, the court puts an end to these injunctions. A brazen double standard.

The governor of Connecticut, Ned Lamont, just vetoed a pro-housing bill and endorsed Andrew Cuomo. He needs to be primaried ASAP. What a pathetic joke.

also, just further evidence that Cuomo is the NIMBY candidate

Tonight, I'll go home and sleep in my bed. I have a lawyer, I'll get due process.

But Edgardo, whose arm was ripped from mine by ICE agents, has none of those things.

That's why I'll keep coming back to court, week after week, to make sure that people's rights are protected.

*arrests people doing it the right way*
Fuck ICE
Hi, this is Meg Barnette, Brad's wife.

While escorting a defendant out of immigration court at 26 Federal Plaza, Brad was taken by masked agents and detained by ICE.

This is still developing, and our team is monitoring the situation closely.

Fuck ICE. Fuck this administration
NYC Comptroller Brad Lander was just arrested by Trump’s ICE agents because he asked to see a judicial warrant.

This is fascism and all New Yorkers must speak in one voice. Release him now.
Here's a longer video of Brad Lander's detention just now inside 26 Federal Plaza as he tried to walk a man out of immigration court, by masked federal agents.

CEO pay is up 1,085% since 1978, while typical worker pay is up just 24%.

Why do we always hear "we can't afford to pay our workers more" but never "we can't afford to pay our CEO more"?

This is some authoritarian shit. Noem said since Harvard won’t give her disciplinary records on students, she’s terminating their foreign exchange student program immediately, and ordered that foreign students must transfer to other schools or have visas revoked.

Bullying students and schools to provoke fear and silence dissent is how we trade democracy and freedom for authoritarianism. This will affect nearly a third of Harvard's students. We cannot be silent.
