Hey can we bring back all those internet safety campaigns we had when I was a millennial teen? It is NOT my job to parent someone else's kids and have to submit my ID to places to sanitize the internet for some puritanical outrage about kids. Parents should be doing this themselves.

I want to note that this is someone who with limited information dodged a bullet because of his basic belief in gender equality and respect. If you start off _actually believing_ that all humans are equally capable & intelligent, it's really easy to make good choices when dangerous temptations lurk.
What actually happened was that Jennifer was also invited, but when we talked about her participation, we were told "she could go shopping with the other wives." The deep-rooted sexism of the whole enterprise couldn't remain hidden. Jennifer was repulsed, I felt likewise, and we said no.

I'm convinced AI is our generation's radium - a discovery with genuinely useful applications in specific, controlled circumstances that we stupidly put in everything from kid's toys to toothpaste until we realised the harm far too late where future generations will ask if we were out of our minds.

I watched a few YouTube compilation videos of old ads from the 70's-90's recently and the quality has plummeted. It's sad.
Actually my brother-in-law just noted something I think gets at a lot of it: Super Bowl ads used to feel like *ad companies* made them, like actual creative people with wild ideas

She makes money by *convincing people* she makes money that way and getting them to pay her to teach them how to do it.
