This is probably the most important take of these times. R’s are expected to be idiots so when they burn the country it’s nothing out of the ordinary while D’s must meet a level of near perfection to not be picked up by every outlet.
Trump officials' showings at hearings today were disasters, but it doesn't make headlines bc the media's default assumption is that Rs are clownish rascals. But if Dems didn't know what was happening at their agencies or what habeas corpus is, it'd be front page news. This is a key media asymmetry.

Last time I went to a concert alone in SF was for MWAM back in 2019.
Well in the end, I went alone and I bought a last minute GA floor ticket off someone for $50 instead of almost 90 for the OOR concert.
It does suck getting home so late with Caltrain. I got back home at 12:50am 😭
