Role Playing Design is a combo of prompt writing and system design and you don’t need to be good at both.

If your talents lean towards prompt writing you can use other designers game systems for bones.

And if you are more into systems, you can make designs where players prompt themselves.

To contradict myself, I think the numbers are also skewed by the fact that wizards is much better positioned to take advantage of an AP bump than just about any other RPG publisher who will just sell out immediately than be out for months missing much of the demand window.

Quinns Quest is an undeniable force, but I think it is dwarfed by CR's ability to move D&D sales and now their own products by some factor of 10.
