It is so cool that Aaron Rodgers became a super huge actual loser after he turned to the dark side. Ever since he wigged out about that Covid vaccine, made himself a martyr, and chose up sides with RFK Jr., he just can't stop losing and letting people down. Great lesson for the kids, thanks man.

Someone once referred to the Pod Save guys as "barely sentient pairs of dockers given human form." I don't know who said it first, but they should've won the Pulitizer Prize for criticism.

I miss the days before covid, when in New York, in Times Square or a crowded subway, you would sometimes see people wearing masks and think, "Why are they wearing those? Oh, right--it's none of my fucking business." Let's get back to that.
Jon Stewart and the pod saves guys mocking people who wear masks while talking about What Is To Be Done is exactly what Jon Stewart and the pod saves guys are, it's the most Jon Stewart and pod saves guys thing possible.

Yes, it's a series of murders.

My curmudgeonly thought for the day: We would not need so many "The ending of blahblahblah EXPLAINED" videos if full-length works of narrative fiction were still routinely taught in grades 5-12. If fairly straightforward plotlines are baffling this many people, something has gone seriously wrong.

Most news outlets are on hiatus for the last week of the year. Because events don't actually occur when it's inconvenient to report on them.

What fills the news-hole? Mainly, fluff: Year's Top Burritos, quizzes for cat-owners, and endless recaps written by interns.

Thank you @cnn.com, for this:

If the Epstein files have proven anything, it’s that the justice system isn’t broken; it’s working exactly as it was built to do: to shield the rich and powerful from accountability while victims are buried, ignored, or silenced.

I’m thoroughly enjoying the MAGA civil war.

It’s only going to get worse when Trump is no longer on the ballot - all the grifters are going to be fighting to be the supreme grift lord.

Did #JeffreyEpstein die by suicide or murder? 6/6

Epstein's death was VERY convenient for many powerful men, and having somebody killed in prison is quite easy for anybody willing to pay for it.

Did that happen?
It's a VERY reasonable question.
And #journalists need to start treating it that way.
