Republican politicians distance themselves from their own fascist goals and place them on Trump. Democratic politicians distance themselves from their own collaboration with fascists and make Trump appear as the sole issue “It’s not xyz, it’s just Trump the crazy that’s the reason this is happening”

Thinking about how bsky has the most horrible setting turned on by default that says "i don't want to see any other languages except English" and if no one tells you to put it on "no selection" you straight up won't see posts from people set to different languages on your TL.

We have published the following update to our article following an email response from the New York Times.

Trans News Network has a policy against platforming bigotry. As such, we have declined to publish the Times' statement which included blatant transphobia.

Ppl who are not Venezuelan listen up:
You will start hearing stuff about Venezuelans wanting this or participating or something. These are deranged claims.

Make no mistake, the Venezuelan govt is corrupt and evil but this isn't it. This is just more evil happening on my country that helps no one.

I don’t believe in using AI in any part of the writing process

I don’t believe in using AI for ideas, moodboards, brainstorming, building outlines, none of that

From the first letter to the last period I believe it all should be done by a human hand

The blood, sweat, tears of it all is the appeal

"we USE ai, but our game wont CONTAIN it" is a clarification that no one has ever cared about & now CEOs are using it as a wedge to get their foot in the door as a part of a long term plan into normalizing AI, just like how 'it's just placeholder' was used with E33. dont cede even an inch of ground

I propose November 1st as resurgence day. Halloween ends, and we all pick up the phones again. MasterCard and Visa, bare minimum, once per day. Every day. All of us. They are only hiring the usual number of holiday workers, this would frighten credit card companies. “It’s not going away”
A source familiar w/ internal workings at MasterCard notes the company does not plan to recruit additional call center workers for the Christmas season, as MasterCard does not expect higher call volume than usual. A resurgence of calls re censorship during the busy season would be huge strategically

Are you kidding me right now? This is the last thing we need. KOSA is back no thanks to Senator Blumenthal who is working with the GOP and bringing in Republican Senators to convince the House to support it.

Please, CALL GOP House leadership and tell them to keep opposing it!

It's pretty wild to me that investigators have uncovered that anti-trans campaigns are largely funded by the fossil fuel industry, and that the presumed motivations are pretty directly to redirect the public conversation away from climate change... and that this isn't bigger news.
