My first grader (a US citizen) came home from school crying because a friend from class (also a US citizen) hasn’t been coming to school because his parents (one of whom is not a citizen) are afraid of ICE.

AGH! Never mind that Australia and Scotland have basically eliminated cervical cancer in those age groups who have been vaccinated. These people are criminally insane.
There's no excuse for this for Liam or any other of the children held. If a child is sick as he apparently is, they go to hospital. End of. It's criminal neglect at the very least.
Just visited with Liam and his father at Dilley detention center. I demanded his release and told him how much his family, his school, and our country loves him and is praying for him.
