Anyway. They spent the last decade telling us STEM degrees were the future and the Humanities were worthless then they spent hundreds of billions of dollars to build a glitchy Humanities robot.

The main thing I have had hammered home by the past ten years in politics is that we really need pretty much every government office to be run by boring and anonymous nerds who you will never once hear about in the news

Here’s the thing - Republicans did act.

They acted to push millions of Americans off their healthcare plans.

They acted to make healthcare radically more expensive for us all.

They acted to destroy the CDC and spread measles, and bring back polio.

They acted to close rural hospitals.
Took to the House floor today because in just 2 weeks, 22 million Americans will see their premiums explode if Republicans refuse to act.

After 15 years, Republicans still have no plan — just higher costs and less coverage.

You know, some days I sit and think about how absolutely wild it is that we've built a society where we don't provide a place for people to even sleep at night without having to pay for it, and that we've somehow made it seem like that's normal.

Again I say: how fucking interesting that remote work technology is bad and not worth adopting despite all research pointing to productivity gains, but genAI which offers NOTHING is so important to adopt and force on people who have no use for it despite all the horrible things genAI does

We need a 4-day, 32-hour work week with livable wages.

There is no reason that people need to be working this much.

People need time off to rest and spend with family and friends.

Had fun painting Lord Felthius and the Tainted Cohort. Want to continue expanding my Death Guard, but unsure whether to buy Blightlords or a squad of plain Plague Marines? Should I pull the trigger on the Combat Patrol before 11th edition changes? Options paralysis is a bastard...

it is MIRACULOUS that we got rid of lead paint and asbestos when we did. if we had tried that today, there would be people whining about how we're restricting their rights.
Bring back residential-use lead paint, you cowards.

I can't stress enough that you should take every opportunity that comes your way to support your local public libraries. Many of them are currently struggling and are being DEFUNDED. Local action matters on this front. Don't sit back until those libraries are gone before taking ACTION.

i think if you want to have those disgusting LED headlights on your car, you should have to do a test where they blast you point blank with your own headlights and then you have 15 seconds to successfully complete some sort of vision-based task, and if you can't do it they push your car off a cliff
