sorry everyone, it was my first day running the big industrial fan outside congress. i read the "wind up" button on the controls as "wind up (point upward)" instead of "wind up (spin faster)". i don't want my mistake to distract from this very important message.
Too often when discussing trans rights, we’re forced to be on the defensive, as Republicans wage attacks.

Today, we take the opportunity to look forward by introducing my Trans Bill of Rights, a comprehensive vision to provide protections for all trans and nonbinary people.

STEPHEN A: Skip I want to ADDRESS this issue.
BAYLESS [nods]
You KNOW I’ve always gone issue-by-issue on health & science, spoken to experts w/a range of takes & presented where I see the center of (data) mass pointed.
BAYLESS: Absolutely.
STEPHEN A: BUT!
In response to announcement that he will be a new CBS contributor, Andrew Huberman tweeted “I’ve always gone issue-by-issue on health & science, spoken to experts w/a range of takes & presented where I see the center of (data) mass pointed. I’ll do the same with @CBSNews”. In Sept he posted this:

Watching Eraserhead after having a child: Henry just pick the fucking baby up. Pick it up and walk it around. Jesus christ.

Not sure about the tie-breaking rules here. I saw the same number of films directed by Shashi’s brother Raj.

maybe not but I bet you he would pretend to feel guilty over it in order to emotionally manipulate his daughter
Men doing this whole “I will vanquish continents for my children” LARP is so goofy in the context of household surveys. It’s nice you’ll kill millions for your daughter, maybe we can start at doing a load of laundry for your wife who does the vast majority of household labor?

I like the sound of “Fuckin Bucklebury Ferry,” but I don’t see Merry being the one character to use the word
The Lord of The Rings movies were rated PG-13. By current rules that means that each film could contain one use of the word "Fuck". Which line are you altering to insert the most useful swear word?

"I can't carry it for you, but I can Fucking carry you"

LET THE CORPSES TAN @ Alamo Drafthouse in Denver. The kind of movie where theater-quality *sound* is hugely important.

Guy in audience mimicking the way the lawyer says “Mr. Cogburn” in TRUE GRIT.

I threw up the first time I saw AVATAR, but I had a migraine and can’t reasonably blame Jim Cameron.
Raising the always fun question: What are your most memorable theater-going experiences?

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.
It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

I’m enjoying the roasts of QT for running his mouth as much as anyone, but, well, yeah, this was *the* way to sell a non-martial arts Hong Kong film to American audiences in the nineties. How else was it supposed to look?
this is a tangent to that but look at the copy of chungking express i had on tape. ol boy said i know what we need to do for my edition of this one of the best and most beautiful movies, stick my mr potato head with the little beady raisin eyes up in the corner looking like muppet baby rondo hatton

I completely forgot to post that I watched 56 Up (2012) at the end of November, maintaining my every-seven-months pace. Each installment presents a bigger sandbox for the editor, and Kim Horton does some great work with this one.
It’s time for 49 Up (2005), the first installment of the widescreen TV era.
I’m watching the second part of 42 Up tonight.
