What does "selling" look like for the Maple Leafs? Laying out a 2026 trade deadline game plan
The Toronto Maple Leafs should be in sell mode at the trade deadline for the first time in a decade.  That much is clear, and I don’t think anybody would argue otherwise at this point. Sitting eight p...

#CMMSpotlight | On 12 March, 2025, satellites detected a super-emitter event of methane – a potent greenhouse gas – in the Marcel [ROW] mine in Poland.

Stopping coal mine methane emissions is a fast, cost effective way to create real climate benefits.

I just think it's easy to point out that virtually every major city on Earth that has implemented it - over voiced objections - has seen drastic improvements in commute times, and the objections rapidly disappear.

Imagining your own city as some miraculous special case that is distinct is odd.

Amber Bracken is one of Canada’s greatest photojournalists, and for the RCMP to mistake observers for participants, arrest her and prevent her from doing her vital work is a deeply dangerous precedent. This case is important for all of us.
Reminder: journalists get arrested in Canada too.

In fact, The Narwhal is in court right now challenging the RCMP for arresting photojournalist Amber Bracken. Our editor-in-chief,Carol Linnitt, testifies today and Monday, and court is open to the public if you're in Vancouver.
Carol Linnitt, co-founder and editor-in-chief, provides an update on The Narwhal’s court case against the RCMP. Amber Bracken finished cross-examination late Jan. 28. It took more than 12 hours.

Toronto seriously needs to look at this, AND the province should also.

Like people *haaaaaate* being stuck in traffic. Complaints about the tolls evaporated VERY quickly once people saw the impact and improvement.
As expected, drives into Manhattan grew notably faster following congestion pricing.

But local journeys outside the toll zone also sped up a bit – and there are *lots* of them.

To the researchers’ surprise, those driving outside Manhattan collectively saved 5x more hours than toll payers(!).

If I had more time I would spend time hashing this out: Women's sports figures speak up bravely on issues because they know that a portion of the population hates them.
Men's teams think they can appeal to everyone so they're afraid to offend anyone.
Women's teams inherently know this is false.
