I’m not saying not to believe who someone is... a fly is a fly. I am saying we catch more flies with honey than vinegar. That doesn’t mean we tolerate intolerance. That’s where we draw the line. We must find the cracks and shine light into them. That’s how we keep democracy from dying in the dark.

I’m old enough to remember when gerrymandering was a Republican tactic to cheat to win and highly unconstitutional. The far-right judges on the Supreme Court turned a blind eye and decided illegal is now legal.

This is what we should be doing in America RIGHT NOW. Instead, there is a nursing shortage, doctors no longer wish to interact with insurance companies, people are fed up with the broken insurance system, and the Trump administration tried to cut ADA (again), and disqualified nursing degrees.
Budget 2025 includes the $5 Billion Health Infrastructure fund that will go towards building hospitals, emergency rooms, urgent care centres, and medical schools.

I’m old enough to remember when SCOTUS stopped the counting of ballots and called an election, and all the subsequent war crimes abroad and losses of civil liberties at home. There is a direct line from Dick Cheney to the mess we’re in today. Never forget that.
