I think one thing that has been so bleak about the court's approach to trans people is that the starting point is that trans identities are not valid and amount to a belief. Really struggling to understand how that can possibly align with gender reassignment as a protected characteristic in law.

I think one thing that has been so bleak about the court's approach to trans people is that the starting point is that trans identities are not valid and amount to a belief. Really struggling to understand how that can possibly align with gender reassignment as a protected characteristic in law.

Online leftists miss the point when they treat trans, women’s, BIPOC, and disabled struggles as secondary to the “workers’ revolution.” Dismantling racial supremacy and patriarchy is the revolution. If you overthrow capitalism without uprooting those foundations, it just comes back with a new names.

Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.
