I don’t know how we would have stopped it even with a time machine, but it seems clear from a humanist view that it was a mistake to let the U.S. become so much mightier than any other nation, now that we are the evil bullies.

This is a very good point.
Venezuela is a test. TACO wants to see if the international community will legitimise it. If they do, Greenland will be next.

This is why I’m pushing for a state escrow account that holds federal funds before sending them on to Washington. If Trump wants to steal our tax dollars that were legally appropriated by Congress, then we should just be paying ourselves.
