I call this photograph ‘into the void’.

The small road disappears into the fog and into the autumn colours of this beautiful woodland.

I love the contrast of blue and yellow created by the autumn leaves and fog. In cold regions of Japan, autumn is ending and winter is beginning. How about in your country?

Follow the Light.

I love photographing nature. Further, there are endless photographic possibilities when immersing yourself in forests. Both forest types - the well kept and paved, as well as the 100% natural and relatively untouched forest land.

My wife has a bad habit of leaving my wooden spoons on top of the hot stove. I make these things as good as I can... but they aren't fireproof.

Sapele and Horse Chestnut.

There is an infinite beauty to moving water, waiting to be discovered! The purple of a winter evening's twilight is softly reflected in the fast moving waters of the St. Lawrence River, Montreal, Canada.

Haha! It worked!

I scoped out the angle this morning and figured I’d be very lucky to pull it off, but it was surely worth a try, eh?

There is almost no transparency when it comes to lobbying MPs. We all need to know who politicians are listening to.

Today I have published a log of every private policy meeting with campaigners, unions, charities and businesses in my first year as an MP.

Every MP should have to do the same.

New funding award will help bring more nature into Bristol
There will be a focus on improving and increasing opportunities for collaborative working, between the council, its partners and communities.

'Swoop Scoop' ~ Wooden scoop carved in Surinam Cherry wood.

Surinam Cherry isn't really a cherry. The fruit look like little red pumpkins... and taste kind of okay... but the wood carves nicely.

It’s kite festival time again. This time, we’re on the beach at Notre Dame de Monts near Nantes. This is a close up of a kite designed by the English kite maker, Carl Robertshaw.

Well, I had no trouble finding that puncture! Strangely, I didn’t have a patch big enough to fix it!

Must have been an old tube and expanded too much in the heat. Never seen that before though.

Has a great time in Narbonne at the weekend. Boy, the French sure do live a beach kite festival.
