I think “there is suddenly very little correlation between economic numbers and economic sentiment” is a bad trend for the long term but I feel at least a level of grim satisfaction at Trump getting a good GDP number and everyone telling him fuck you everything sucks anyway

I'm a millennial who grew up with early digital tech and loved it, I was a tech optimist for so long, I would in a tech-adjacent role, and what finally made me a tech critic was just watching and experiencing what these companies actually do. It is demonstrably causing a lot of real harm.
