Friends, I'm trying to purchase some Arduino kits for my engineering classes. If you're able to either purchase or share, I'd be so appreciative!

very funny to read these emails and then remember summers wondering whether the leaky pipeline in stem was because women are inherently bad at math
The emails have Summers reporting to Epstein about his attempts to date a Harvard economics student & to hit on her during a seminar she was giving.

Went to see bugonia and one battle after another today. The first? Cinema. The second? A Movie. Would recommend both but preferred the second, surprisingly.

so ask yourself, when you're advancing some new grand theory of Why Things Are Like This: does this theory actually point the way towards new solutions you hadn't thought of before? or does it just smear a layer of verbiage on top of your existing grievances and grudges?

I came back from Sync Conf and shocked how many people are building text editors and the struggles they had with yjs.

So rather than wait for my cofounder to finish his blog, I’ll just give a quick rundown on what we do for live collab editing.
Changelog 3 is out. Mostly we were busy with Sync Conf, the American holiday known as veteran's day, and 😱 replacing our frontend state management system. 😱 But we are looking forward to some very big product announcements in the next couple weeks. moment.dev/blog/changel...

New in @theverge.com - half of US scams originate on a Meta property. The company must do more. @lanalanalana.bsky.social and I weigh in www.theverge.com/tech/820906/...
Meta must rein in scammers — or face consequences
Scams are ruinous to users — but, reportedly, big business to Meta.

All parents and kids should be talking to administrators and school boards about how their districts are implementing AI. Require transparency, privacy, limits, and guardrails IF it’s allowed at all. Push back against big tech trying to sell harmful chatbots to your children.

All Her Fault: What if they made what should've been a random BBC drama filmed in some nowhere town in the UK but set it in Chicago with B+/A-list hollywood actors, but kept the weird UK norms basically intact? Answer: I will still watch it, but complain

Man takes city bus for a joy ride, makes several stops along the way, allowing passengers to get on and off at bus stops, no damage to the vehicle.

"He even went as far as to deny someone looking to board with an expired bus pass"
