I will never forget having to edit Jamal’s final, posthumous piece for the Washington Post, after he was murdered.

He was calling for free expression in the Arab world. You can read it here :

Opinion | Jamal Khashoggi: What the Arab world needs most is free expression
The Arab world needs a modern version of the old transnational media so citizens can be informed about global events.

I understand why Democrats are being restrained about this but the right's effort to lie about what happened here is incredibly disrespectful to the victims and requires vociferous pushback. The shooter appears to have been an anti-abortion zealot and a Trump voter. Don't let them avoid this.

Brennan is just wrong here. Lazy journalism based on assumptions, old data, and misinformation. Shows you how much damage certain high-profile pundits can do to the information environment.

It’s very easy to just look at all the data, like we do:

Once again the correct response to this is to immediately push for a huge amnesty bill. If farm, hotel, and restaurant workers are so vital to the country that even donald trump can admit it, they should all be getting green cards now

Yes, this is huge. There seems to be a 7-2 majority on the Court now unwilling to trust that the government will consistently follow through on its word and act in good faith.
One thing that stands out pretty clearly in the Supreme Court's order on Alien Enemies Act removals -- which held that the administration's limited notice to detainees " surely does not pass muster" -- is that the Court doesn't seem to be extending it any benefit of the doubt.

I hate to be That Guy, but no, this really isn't hypocrisy. If Posobiec held a universalist principle -- "one should not threaten the president" or "one should be able to threaten the president," either one -- then it would be hypocrisy. But he does not hold any such universalist principle.
