Canadians using Twitter/X are being bombarded by misleading right-wing posts designed to boost Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre and tarnish the reputation of Mark Carney.

The FT’s analysis finds a growing volume of that misinformation is coming not from Russia or China, but the United States.

So to sum up the Wisconsin arrest issue:
ICE didn't have a juridical warrant. They only had an administrative warrant. The DOJ has not convened a grand jury to indict the judge. They only got a criminal complaint before a magistrate judge.
This is ridiculous.

If you have to carry your papers so you don't renditioned to die in a foreign gulag, you're living in a fascist state.

If you're arresting judges because they're not an active tool of the Executive, you're a fascist.

When you are essentially outlawing the opposition party, you're a fascist.

1. I study how science works as a collective endeavor to make sense of the physical world.

I also study how misinformation about science spreads and affects society.

There are fewer examples more poignant than a Minnesota bill that would criminalize mRNA vaccines as weapons of mass destruction.
This morning Minnesota Republicans introduced a bill banning mRNA vaccines and labeling them "weapons of mass destruction." It would make manufacturing, possessing or administering them a crime punishable by up to 20 years in prison. www.revisor.mn.gov/bills/bill.p...

Why Neo-Nazis Are Obsessed With the Occult
The Nazis themselves were murder nerds. Now their successors are LARPing as wizards of racial superiority as they commit very real atrocities—as seen in the recent parent killing in Wisconsin.
