remains striking the extent to which trump quite loudly does not see himself as president of the united states and more as a clan leader for his supporters
Trump: "I have just viewed the clip of the event which took place in Minneapolis. It is a horrible thing to watch. The woman screaming was, obviously, a professional agitator, and the woman driving the car was very disorderly, obstructing and resisting ... "

If any other president in all of history said the military should use American cities as a training ground he would be removed from office that same day. The hardest thing to tolerate in all this is how relatively silent elected democrats are. It’s ridiculous.

Medicaid expansion leads to increased access to health care for people of color and people with disabilities, preserves rural community hospitals, and ensures marginalized communities have access to the health resources they need.

No, say it louder. It's absolute bullshit how Across the Spider-Verse made over $300 million in profit, yet neither Marvel nor Sony could be bothered to defray the hospital bills of the man who co-created Miguel O'Hara. Instead they left his wife and family scrambling to afford to live.
feels kind of obscene to say this now, but Peter David probably could've spent a few more years with his loved ones had he received just a little help from an industry he earned millions of dollars for

So, this guy obviously doesn't have MS13 on his knuckles. What an absurd claim! But as a tattoo historian, I can say: even if he did, it's all absolutely no evidence that he's affiliated with the gang anyway. Tattooing a Nike logo on you doesn't mean you make shoes.
Trump just posted a photo of himself holding up a piece of paper claiming to show tattoos on Kilmar Abrego Garcia that are related to MS-13. The paper he’s holding up has been digitally altered to add the characters MS-13.

The claim comes from neo-Nazis on X who say the tattoos cover up “MS-13.”

this is such good news. i think it is also an opportunity for democrats to state forthrightly that when they win power again everyone responsible for this crime will be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law and will face the american people to answer for their lawlessness
I said my main goal of this trip was to meet with Kilmar. Tonight I had that chance. I have called his wife, Jennifer, to pass along his message of love. I look forward to providing a full update upon my return.

I was told we're under assault by foreign gangs and fentanyl imports, and yet the FBI's top priority appears to be the state-law crime of vandalism, but not vandalism in general, just vandalism of a single company.

If state and local cops can't handle this, why do we spend such much on them? 🤔

INCREDIBLE Ruling!

Judge Reyes just ruled that transgender people have served honorably in the military, judges Trumps trans military ban - which states trans people are inherently dishonorable - as unconstitutional and motivated by animus.

Trans military members may continue to serve.

Rex is 100% correct. The destruction caused by the Sackler's Perdue Pharma over-saturation of OxyContin across our nation has a direct result leading to fentanyl use/abuse/death.

When sick/addicted people can't access their "legal" prescribed opioid, they seek something else - ANYTHING ELSE
I spent 14 years in opioid hell. Many friends and acquaintances have lost their lives.

It’s a result of American drug company Purdue Pharma/OxyContin.

Anyone trying to blame fentanyl, Mexico, China, or Canada for America’s overdose deaths and opioid drug addiction are full of shit. Full stop.
