today is a good day to ask yourself how much you actually support the independent artists and creators you enjoy, beyond just liking and subscribing. do you pay them money for their work? do you buy their things? fund alternative culture now or be left with the slop.
There’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for people to build on the rubble of what’s being destroyed before our eyes. Private corporations bending over to forcefeed everyone government-approved speech is evil and amoral, but more than anything this creates boring, inauthentic, unwatchable shit.

The passing of Tomas Lindberg is another huge blow to our scene. A true larger than life legend, whose instantly recognisable style was often imitated, but never bettered, he leaves behind a legacy of work that will live forever.

this is maybe trite at this point but it is in your interest to find ways to create things. basically everyone wants you to be consuming nonstop. making stuff, from cooking to photography or whatever, can help you feel more in control. doesn’t even have to be something you share with other people
