There are large dem state govs that SHOULD redistrict to counter MAGA but are 2 cowardly to even try: Pritzker / IL, Hochul / NY, Murphy / NJ, Moore / MD

CA folks, I voted YES ON PROP 50.

Gerrymandering is objectively anti-democratic, but if Red and Purple states are going to do it (and they are), then the only way to ultimately put a stop to it is for Blue states to respond in-kind. Having the moral high ground won’t save Democracy.

Look, I don't know if Newsom or Pritzker or anyone can beat Tr*mp. Our fundamental ability to even vote is in question. That's not doomerism, just fact. But what I do know is this: Newsom is the gov of my state and I can yell at him and call out his awful policies and expect better.
