The "Andrew Tate can only beat women, he can't beat a real man" sentiment being repeated today is just repackaged misogyny.

This is just so wonderful. This is what you do if you have money.❤️
It’s the “season of love and giving”…but this year, doesn’t it seem more like a “season of fear and taking”? Like many of you, I’ve been saddened by the human impact of draconian government budget cuts and how angry many housed Americans are at unhoused Americans.

The memo, signed by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, says the reversal would give the U.S. military a “force multiplier” against enemies.

1) literally no climate activist says fossil fuels aren’t useful. If they weren’t useful then there’d be no problem!

3) The Liberals in Canada are not “the left”. Not this government.
In @nytopinion.nytimes.com

“The mind-set shift needed here is to acknowledge that while climate change is real and harmful, the utility of fossil fuels is not something the oil and gas industry tricked the public into,” Matthew Yglesias writes.

2013 was the first time in 30 years the Maine shrimp season was canceled. It never reopened (if you had Maine shrimp in the intervening years, it was from the small "test catch" done to see if they could reopen. This year's catch was < 7 pounds).

This is just so sad. We did this.
When climate change takes a flavor from the world.

My in-law family has told me about the tiny, intense pink shrimp that were harvested in stormy seas in Maine winters.

Now warming oceans have reduced the shrimp population to almost nothing, and the fishery has been officially closed.
New England’s shrimp fishery to shut down for the long haul after years of decline
Fishing regulators are extending a shutdown for New England’s historic shrimp fishing business, effectively shuttering an industry that fell victim to warming oceans.

Every major news organization should be writing about how insane this is and how, if he takes this country to war (tomorrow?), it is the act of a madman.
Trump: "Venezuela is completely surrounded by the largest Armada ever assembled ... It will only get bigger, and the shock to them will be like nothing they have ever seen before — Until such time as they return to the USA all of the Oil, Land, and other Assets that they previously stole from us."
