The irony in Ellson, Battaglino, Stewart, Stops etc demanding a small minor street literally called ‘King Henry’s Walk’ takes 12,000 daily cars from surrounding A-roads to make driving more convenient. Because that’s social environmental justice apparently. They really are crackers.

My e-bike has turned my hilly suburban East Richmond area into a 15-minute neighborhood. Post office, hardware store, 3+ groceries, Kaiser, gym, waterfront all in easy reach for this creaky 74 yo.

The Embankment cycleway (CS3) in London was purposefully built to be wider than was usual in order to future proof it.

Some said it would hardly be used.

Now there’s a decent case for widening it further.

Induced demand is real.
