This minister seems to believe that the State has no responsibility with regards to preventing a company, based here in Ireland, from providing the tools by which child sexual abuse material has been generated by its own paid subscribers. A truly bizarre thing to say.

Ireland and the EU should be actively shouting about US breaches of international law right now - failure to do so contributes to normalisation of a new era of colonial gangsterism.

Hands off Venezuela!

This is a blatant imperialist attack for oil and power in Latin America.

Will the Irish government condemn this flagrant violation of Venezuelan sovereignty?

Very disappointed to see that my local TDs (Gary Gannon, Marie Sherlock, Mary Lou McDonald). are still supporting Twitter by posting there. At what point does the need for followers outweigh the misinformation, abuse and facilitation of child sex abuse material? #SpeirGorm

Love Eamon Ryan continuously telling us he's a rudderless centrist - as though austerity, his defences of same, and the Greens' minimally-effectual last mudguard coalition stint weren't all broadcasting that in 4K.

The by-election here in Dublin Central will likely be a interesting contest for many reasons but one to watch will be FF's candidate selection. Very much could be a battle between pro-Martin faction (likely Mary Fitzpatrick) and the anti-Martin faction (likely Councillor John Stephens). #SpéirGhorm

Opposing genocide is the moral duty of our time.

Yet Palestine Action activists have been held in prison for over a year without trial. Six are now on hunger strike.

Detaining peaceful protesters under counter-terror powers is indefensible. This is political imprisonment in all but name.
