I'm increasingly concerned about the Russian genocidal war against Ukraine & the take over of western democracies by Russian western assets.

I amplify Ukrainian voices.

What is clear, although European politicians are still too scared to say it, is that the United States is becoming a serious threat to European democracies, the UK included.

Who could have predicted, a year ago, how far the US would fall?
JD Vance has declared that France and the United Kingdom having nuclear weapons is a security threat to the United States.

Russia and MAGA want every remaining democracy in the world to be weakened and defenseless.

Trump was elected over a year ago, promising to end the Ukraine war in 24h.

Ukraine accepted his ceasefire proposals; Russia rejected them. Yet he pressures Ukraine more than Russia.

Most Americans support Ukraine, yet he goes against their will because he is compromised

At 0900 every morning in Ukraine, we pause for a moment of silence to remember those who died due to Russian aggression.

This Christmas morning at 0900 Ukraine time, I am thinking about those who are no longer here to celebrate Christmas with their families.

We condemn the scandalous US visa ban on former EU Commisioner Breton and digital activists. Protecting democracy isn’t censorship. ✋🏼

Disinformation isn’t free speech. Europe won’t take lessons from those undermining democracy and free speech.

Here in Europe we set our own laws. 🇪🇺✊🏼

What should be blatantly obvious, & totally unacceptable, is the restrictions Russia wants to impose mean Ukraine can never be free.

No freedom to join NATO
Forced to limit armed forces
Forced to be 'neutral'
Forced to use Russian language

This is Russian imperialist fascism.

The U.S. has begun sanctioning EU officials. At the same time, it has lifted sanctions on firms accused of supplying russia’s military.

At this point, it should be obvious that the current U.S. administration is no longer merely a bystander — it is fully aligned with russia.

The U.S. is fueling euro nationalism like never before. Liberal parties who support a more federal Europe will do well thanks to America's bashing of them. The U.S. leadership is proving a severe lack of understanding of Europe. Younger generations want more Europe, not less.

Two warriors of Ukraine’s 93rd Brigade held a position near Rusyn Yar in Donetsk region against terrorist forces for 130 days.

Caption says they managed to capture a Russian who stayed with them for 2,5 months, helping to build defences.

As a historian I've looked at hundreds of thousands of pages of government documents. And I just have to say that aside from being obviously illegal and clearly suggestive of some major crime, this “redaction” business is not a position in which serious people or serious governments find themselves
There is no basis to withhold these images under the clear terms of the Epstein Files Transparency Act. None.
WOW: The DOJ has DELETED an image from its release of the Epstein files that shows photos of Trump in a drawer.

Yesterday, we noted that this image — file 468 — likely slipped through the cracks while officials were attempting to hide materials pertaining to Trump.

Now, it’s gone.

Putin’s aide Ushakov hasn’t even heard the Ukrainian-European proposals, yet already says they won’t accept them. Russia will stick to what it “agreed” with the U.S.

Translation: Ukraine’s capitulation.

So much for “peace negotiations”.

Brexit has brought nothing but damage to us. An economic disaster yes but also, barriers to travel, loss of freedoms, isolation, strategic political loss and an increase in racism and hate. The list is huge.

I feel very differently about England now. It feels like a personal loss.
