I’ll join Minnesota in this action! I’ve seen enough to know that none of our communities are safe from being terrorized by this administration.
Unions and community orgs are calling for a Minnesota-wide shutdown in 10 days to protest the ferocious assault by federal immigration agents. They're saying on Jan 23, no work, no school, no shopping. SEIU Local 26, UNITE HERE Local 17, & others are supporting, w/ more to join. By me, Amie Stager
“We Are Facing a Tsunami of Hate”: Amid ICE Crackdown, Unions and Community Groups Call for Minnesota Shutdown in 10 Days

Normal times we're living in.

Shout out to all the Minneapolis homies protecting neighbors and keeping kids safe
Life in Minnesota is getting invited to the house of a lady who you met in a neighborhood signal chat because she said she needed a dozen whistles and then talking for an hour in her kitchen about how to develop an anti-ICE patrol for her kid’s fucking preschool.

Cutting off his airway in that unnecessary drag. We drag people if we are under fire. He was playing army again.

These goons and this administration see US Citizens as “the enemy.” Many cops (not that they are cops or even trained) seem to be trained that way. Seems central to their culture.
A protester is currently lying in a hospital bed with a piece of shrapnel in his neck 7mm from his carotid artery.

While he lay bleeding on the pavement, blinded in his left eye, gasping for air, agents did not call a medic. They dragged him and sneered: "You're going to lose your eye."

At what point do we all acknowledge what is actually happening in America? The full weight of the U.S. government has been turned on the people.
So when do we say enough is enough.... AND ACT LIKE IT!

Basically nothing this administration does is supported by public opinion. The vast majority of people don't want any of this. But they seem to think doing it quickly and violently enough, all at once, will make us all feel like it's inevitable.

32 people died in ICE custody last year — the agency’s deadliest year in over two decades.

Meanwhile, private prison corporations that are building and overseeing ICE detention centers are raking it in.

Cashing in on cruelty.

President Volodymyr Zelensky said the massive protests in Iran signal that Russia’s position will weaken.

Iran is a key partner of Moscow. When authoritarian regimes crack from within, the impact reaches far beyond their borders.

What would you do if ICE surrounded your home and demanded entry? Theses homeowners are between a rock and a hard place. They requested a warrant and sought the assistance from local police. This is bravery in the face of danger!
