I wish I was surprised. Buried in this Budget is a plan to slash the Digital Services Tax, giving a multi-billion tax cut to US tech giants and the likes of Elon Musk.

Apparently I had a load of video production stuff laying around so that's about 1TB transferred to my archive spinny disk external drive.
It'a now full and there's not quite enough space to consolodate the 2 2TB drives BUT one of them is mainly full of my Steam library.

Alright I guess now is also a good time to move stuff around generally, archive some things, and clear up one of the 2TB drives so it can be a system drive instead of using a 250GB one with steam installed on a different drive.
I need to go through all the various stuff on my computer and prepare it for the big linux switch.
At some point.

I once asked a bookseller at a large indie store how many people would have to buy a book for it to get the attention of the store buyer and cause an additional order and they said: Three.
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.
