Dass Leute inklusiv sein wollten, und freiwillig gegendert haben, wurde als „Sprachpolizei“ gebrandmarkt.

Aber Gendern und vegane Wurst „Wurst“ nennen wurde staatlich verboten.

Die jahrelange Propaganda, autoritäre Rechte als „Freiheitskämpfer“ zu inszenieren, hat viel zu viele gehirngewaschen.

Fear of deportation is keeping pregnant immigrants from accessing health care. The same fear is keeping immigrant domestic violence victims from calling for help.

Given that homicide is the leading cause of death for pregnant people, this is all terrible.

And it’s certainly not public safety.

Pregnant immigrants are terrified ICE will show up outside the doctors' office or at the hospital. So they're skipping the care necessary to ensure a healthy birth.

Ich erwarte inzwischen immer mehr, dass der CO2-Ausstoß erst endet, wenn wir als Gesellschaft auf ein vorindustrielles Zivilisationslevel zurück kollabiert sind. Bleibt nur noch die Frage, ob das in einem Zeitraum von 50, 100 oder 200 Jahren passieren wird (und wie viele Kriege das beinhalten wird).

Ein Punkt, der mich immer wieder bei Klimaprognosen stört, ist dass diese in der Regel kein Szenario berücksichtigen, in dem die Politik in mehr und mehr Ländern anfängt aktiv und gezielt CO2-Ausstoß zu fördern.

Das passiert aber bereits und wird eventuell noch deutlich zunehmen.

I keep waiting for the powers that be in media to grasp the concept of bad faith, realize how often "restore trust in news" and similar statements mean "stop doing journalism, lie more in ways I like," come from people ideologically committed to destroying trust in news, and can never be satisfied.

Das ist übrigens das Grundproblem in der Berichterstattung über 🇪🇺 Politik: Nicht "die EU" schlägt Dinge vor, sondern einzelne Parteien/Fraktionen oder die Kommission.
