IDK why but it's this little petty shit that burns me up the worst. Maybe because it shows it's not just some bad opinions, it's really his whole worldview that is just comprehensively fucked up

Senate Republicans just killed Democrats’ attempt to extend Affordable Care Act subsidies for 3 years.

They don’t want to lower your health care costs. They want you to pay more for worse care so that their billionaire buddies in the health insurance industry can get even richer.

Today is the first of 25 days of #Crustmas! Post as many crustaceans as possible! (not just crabs) 🦑🧪

This year I'm less personally inclined towards "crabs are the ultimate form", and my piece below explains why.

PS all posts will be right here on the crab feed 🦀

Crab Memes Amplify Mistaken Ideas about Evolution
Memes about repeated evolution of crabs have been co-opted to joke about technology and “ultimate forms.” They’re hilarious, but they oversimplify natural variation, giving bad arguments a scientific ...

I get we've become desensitized to Trump's (and Miller's) ramblings but this might be the most unhinged and dangerous thing ever uttered by a president in my lifetime?

A reminder for those who are not aware: "remigration" is the process of deporting all non-white people from a country. It includes citizens and is, by definition, ethnic cleansing.

And to be clear: this is not fake. I just screenshot it myself.

Horror has a face, and you must make a friend of horror. Horror and moral terror are your friends. If they are not, then they are enemies to be feared. They are truly enemies, Charlie Brown.

I continue to believe that misogyny is the ultimate mainspring of contemporary society
I think about this a lot, Democrats (both elected and just individual voters) bring this up all the time, the evidence and anecdotal experiences reinforce it (brutally, tbqh) and yet “Republicans are better at the economy” just persists? Why???

I am afraid it’s gender, which is near intractable.
It’s funny to see how many people here are insisting that Dems never even try to make this case when I think of it as “Bill Clinton’s favourite stat” which he brings up variations of literally every time he has a chance lol
