Hi, hello.
I’m a designer in NYC.
Trying to figure shit out. I’m probably wrong about everything.
We shouldn't have to keep saying it, but there is nothing less American (and less in character with what was admirable about Washington) than the President putting his face and name on every government document and service he can.

It's also endlessly pathetic.
Here's what some of the new National Park Service passes will look like, starting Jan 1

Absolutely zero thought went into the design of this. No one cared. It’s so obvious an object brought into existence for the pleasure of one tasteless man who will never know how little the world really cares about him.
Like hands above the ocean tides holding onto to a shipwreck.

hey so we should all be prepared that there's a good chance the man kicks it on camera right in front of all of us. Dies in the middle of an oval office press conference or something and everyone pretends he hasn't just fallen asleep again, but actually this time he's really *gone* gone

It really isn’t said enough how much these people straight up hate America. People should say this a lot more frequently. They simply don’t like the good parts of modern American life.
"Sources in the Trump administration have previously told Zeteo that officials will at times intentionally use popular music from vocally anti-Trump performing artists, in order to trigger a negative response from a famous liberal and provide further amplification of their pervasive culture war,"
NEWS: The Trump-Vance White House is attacking Sabrina Carpenter.

In a new statement, the White House — led by Trump, a liable sexual abuser mired in scandal for ties to pedophile Jeffrey Epstein — suggests Carpenter is "stupid" and is defending pedophiles and rapists.

I have a theory that some portion of the mess we’re in today is due to weirdly designed homes slowly turning people insane like they’re at the Overlook Hotel. McMansions slow roasting people’s brains.
Oh shit waddup

This is true. And it’s why I’ve swapped most of my time online this year with physical books. My life, as Katie says, has been richer.
The most precious commodity you have is your attention. You don’t have to waste it on poor-faith debates or arguments with strangers if you don’t think they’ll be productive. You can prioritize the things that matter to you and make your life richer.

Hegseth plastered a “Department of War” sticker over the “Department of Defense” sign on his door. Of course he’s foolish enough to commit these murders.
GOP Rep. Don Bacon: "I don't think Secretary Hegseth would be foolish enough to make this decision to say, 'Kill everybody. Kill the survivors,' because that's a clear violation of the law of war."

Claiming that someone can “win” an IQ test should result in automatic fail. Like sinking the cue when going for the 8 ball.
Trump: "You should've suffered a little while through Kamala. The good news is she had no clue. I want to give an IQ test to Kamala and Biden. Who do you think wins?"

You can’t. Being miserable is his entire personality.

Another way to put this is that it was a vote against change. They voted to undo any cultural change which made them uncomfortable, regardless of if Trump himself ever mentioned them specifically. Pure dreaming.

Of course, Trump did the opposite. He caused massive change, more discomfort.
One reason the Trump admin will fail is that they were supposed to make the world a simpler place for their voters. Collapse the complexity & restore order. It was their false promise.

Instead, they made everything MORE complex. Hundreds of times more.

This will make their own voters turn on them.

In December, they’ll be claiming the Epstein files were the cause of November’s job losses
Hassett: "The Council of Economic Advisers informs me that they think we're probably gonna see something like 60,000 job losses because of the shutdown, and it'll take a while to get that back."

The basic Republican argument on health insurance is — and has always been — if you’re not a rich enough person it’s better for America that you die.

Today I spent 6 hours on a plane for a flight which normally takes less than 2 hours. It was stupid and chaotic but worth it if it means the GOP eats shit for choosing this pain.

I hated every second of that trip today BUT IT WAS IN SERVICE OF FIGHTING FOR THE VULNERABLE.

Don’t fucking cave
