I'm a local TV news producer and I do my best to cover the local impact of things like NIH cuts, Head Start cuts, the DOGE layoffs, etc. but I have been begging since January for people to talk to us, with anonymous protection, and esp. w/ hospitals, universities, NO ONE will talk out of fear.

Almost nobody is ok with it. But was it on your local news today? If not, nobody is going to know about it in order to not be OK with it.

Ppl oppose almost everything this administration is doing, when they’re told what those things are. But most people aren’t!

The full exchange is even worse than the "you should be more thankful" exchange. Here, Trump talks about the "Russia Hoax," drops buzz words like "Hunter" "Laptop" and "Dirty 51" and says poor Putin had to go through those lies with me, ergo Putin can be trusted now.
