Disappointed (should use stronger language) that there’s a petition calling for Albo to resign (re Bondi) with over 80,000 signatures- I’m no fan of his but this is absurd

Maybe police and security services should have spent less time harassing peace protesters and more time looking into IS-affiliated guys with multiple weapons who went to the Philippines for terrorist training…?

No wonder the ALP is so tone deaf, just got a ridiculous online questionnaire with nonsense ‘select 3’ of 5 options none of which were what I would like to see - needed a none of the above choice

What a disgrace. The govt has been pursuing him for 8 years for doing the right thing, and not only has the govt not fixed whistleblower laws or dropped his prosecution in this time, they’ll now imprison him because he cannot defend himself any longer.
After a court enforced realisation that he wasn’t protected by our broken whistleblower laws, Richard Boyle has pleaded guilty to being a whistleblower. It’s a sad outcome. Richard is a superhero - Australia needs more people like him. #auspol

Looks like the ABC may have taken this interview off its website. Perhaps we can all re-post this version.
APAN President Nasser Mashni says he welcomes today’s strong language by the PM on Israel but says it’s come too late, says Israel is “not a democracy, it’s a rogue apartheid genocidal state, headed up by a war criminal. It’s time for Australia to do more than just talk…” #Abc

Genuinely can’t think of anything in my lifetime that has more corroded my faith in humanity than witnessing the eradication of the Palestinian people - and the West meeting it with silence, complicity, or cold indifference. Where are our souls.

In Dec ‘23 I shared a @hrw post on Israel using starvation as a tool of war. ABC blamed it for my firing.
In March ‘24 ICJ warned of widespread famine ordering Israel to let food in.
In April ‘25 Israel still starves Gaza.
Hindsight? I’d share my original post again.
And again

If you’re an Aussie journalist and you’re not standing with Mary Kostakidis, Antoinette Lattouf, Peter Lalor & Michael West as Zionists try to silence them, well, you’re not a journalist. You’re a shill. You’re greasing the path to fascism and you can absolutely go fuck yourself.
