Read that again: **116** times.

Why are we STILL having to argue the case for rewilding??

Have you seen a #waxwing this winter? These Scandinavians migrate here to feast on berries. If it's a hard winter in Scandinavia they come in huge numbers called an irruption. This isn't one of those years but there are a few around.

A dead, fallen tree in the rainforest explodes into a kaleidoscope of exquisite new life, colour, and beauty.

Just one example of what's lost when we 'tidy' deadwood away from a natural ecosystem.

Leave it rot down for nature. 🌍

Did u know? In '26 make a decision not to buy peat - it needs to stay in the ground, where it belongs. Instead, buy peat-free plants, or employ the services of these decomposing dudes & make your own compost. Just collect your organic & brown cardboard waste & watch the worms make new soil.🌿🌱🇬🇧🌱🌍🪱

A massive old oak, wrapped in ivy, down by the shores of Bantry Bay, West Cork.

So many people still believe ivy is a 'parasite', or 'kills trees', but in Europe it's a natural and vital part of forest ecosystems, providing food, shelter, and cover to a great range of wildlife.

According to the UN, naturally regenerating forests cover 3.83 billion hectares. That's 92% of the world’s total forest area.

Why are we still getting industrial plantations in Ireland?

Instead of real forest *ecosystems*, which only nature can do?
