@governor.ca.gov and other CA executive officers need to start mapping out the logistics of fiscal secession, especially plausible mechanisms to retain fed income, SS, and medicare taxes of CA residents that are automatically passed on to the IRS each paycheck (these add up to ~85% of fed revenue)
So what's going on is that the Trump administration plans to bleed blue states' economies dry and hold state-level governance hostage until they comply with their demands. This is how mafia states work; they've seized control of the mechanisms to do this stuff on a granular level.
Okay what is going on here. Are the accounts at a private banking entity? Does the federal government have direct debit permission set up? So many questions as to how Treasury instructed this payment. (Via NY Post’s Craig McCarthy)

I was thinking about this today. Congress tried giving the sitting president a line item veto in 1996. It was ruled unconstitutional.

Great turnout today at #teslatakeover Encinitas (north San Diego) with 75-100 folks from #50501, #Indivisible, #SURJ, and other groups when I got there. Lots of engagement from drivers on Encinitas Blvd, 10:1 👍 to 🖕. 🙏 to SD Sheriff who monitored & assisted with at least one miscreant.

Congressman @beyer.house.gov will be going to USAID today with colleagues to shine a light on what is happening there, I think others will join us. Figuring out details now and will share but flagging now for press and public in the area
