I mean yeah it’s an authoritarian takeover but can we take some comfort in the fact that the people doing it are INSANELY stupid?

South Carolina is trying YET AGAIN to pass a bill that will impose the death penalty or imprison women (life sentence) who lose their baby for any

Death penalty and life imprisonment for a miscarriage or abortion is pure hatred of women.

A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.

Happy with the landslide nature of all this.

Also curious what the tantrum will be.

After No Kings Day 2 we lost part of the White House.

*thinks*

Uh. We might should set a guard on the Statue of Liberty.

The 400 richest Americans are now worth a record $6.6 trillion.

The entire bottom 50% of America is worth just $4.2 trillion.

Read that back.

When 400 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.

So, is MAGA Mike Johnson ever going to work again, or is he just going to keep humiliating himself by holding these weird press conferences every day? Trying to starve Americans and take away their health care to protect those in the Epstein Files certainly is a choice.

Repubs are leveraging the firing of government employees to get Dems to concede to their budget bill.

Dems want to protect your finances from an extreme rise in premiums (75%+) and prevent millions from losing healthcare.

The parties are not the same.
