If Yu-Gi-Oh was actually good, then Kaiba would have spent 10 minutes or so to summon his boss monster only for Yami Yugi to bounce it back with a Compulse because most early boss monsters had "cannot be destroyed" instead of "cannot be targeted" effects, which results in Kaiba getting a stroke.

you know, one thing i'd love to see for XIV is more world events. fallen earth, another (old) MMORPG, had a system where you'd have regional events where a certain town would, idk, prepare to be attacked or sth- and mechanically, you'd have 5 quests that can be repeated over and over, but only 10 ->
