it cannot be said enough that the students are literally just chanting and linking arms in an open field. there are no laws being broken. and they're nearly outnumbered by cops in riot gear.

why is "reducing police misbehavior" not considered a top budgetary concern?
rhetorical question, I know, but given how much the media loves Responsible Budget stuff I feel like it's a plausible wedge to counter the overwhelming weight of copaganda that reformists always face
